Hello All!
My name is James and i'm new to this whole site im a good freind of Ash Stringer (aka Monkeyboy) and im a 21 year old wannabe animator/ artist from Darlington, in Northeast England.
I currently specialise in 2D animation and digital drawing although i can animate in 3D abeit in a basic manner but the ground work is there and i also
I'm see myself as a friendly chap who is willing to help anybody and im always striving to improve my own personal skills in both animation and in my drawing.
I've been animating since 2005/6 and i have just graduated from the University of Teeside after studying and animation and illustrative art for 3 years.
I suppose you could say im a bit of 2 things at the moment a student and a hobbyist. I like to be a professional but unfortunatly i consider alot of my material to be very bad at the moment.
My DREAM job would to either create a story or character that would become famous and be remembered long after im gone or i'd like to be a professional 2D animator for a studio such as Disney thats if they're still up for 2D films these days...capacity wise im not too sure on that score at the moment.
Asked; "Would like to be a senior animator?" Yes i think that would be a real challenge for me and something i'd be proud of but im doubtful as regards as a director as i think the demands of the whole thing i think would affect my creativity...
One thing i would like to do as well as animate though is to be a character designer, as i say i prize my drawing skills very much and i do like to get creative with other people in developing many different characters.
My main aim for being on here is to meet new people and interact with others of a similar interest. I hope you'll all accept me into your world and i hope to talk to some of you real soon.
